..for the studio??.. Inspiration from the painters shop “Corners” i Gbg. What a feeling, at the end of the day, to punch in, get paid, and close register.. I can see it in front of me. Would be the highlight a the day I´m sure. After all recording is done, every band member has to pay their individual amount based on how many channels they´ve used.. Poor drummer..

.. for Zombiekrigs upcoming second album!.. All week: mixing, editing, tweaking, pushing Zombiekrigs sequel here in das Studio!.. When the rumour started to spread, people started to line up outside hoping to hear, if anything, just a phrase or a bit from a solo perhaps.. Some weird-looking guys where shouting “give us a bass line, give us a bass line goddamn it!”.. odd..

Had to visit the vet today also.. Our little cat chaser made quite a spin-off on the asphalt yesterday night and broke a claw from her paw!?! ouch.. Didn´t complain at all thou.. Germans,.. made out of steel!

dangerously close to my synthesizers.. haha.. A two-day rehearsal session at Polar Studios, Stockholm. The new material from the Fibes boys sounds really really amazing.. Fun!.. Looking forward to be on stage with them, turning knobs, tweaking sounds this year! P3 Guld the 21th is a “2012-don´t miss”!..

me, playing a fifth
me and my ms2000 on our way up to Stockholm for a two-day rehearsal with the Fibes boys.. Our journey quickly turned into a rescue mission thou, picking up passengers from a wrecked train somewhere outside Herrljunga. That, the storm “Emil”, and the loose old dog walking anxiously around in our coach contributes to the standard SJ trip (Hall morning pun!). Hmm, another wrecked train in our way now, but a cool french family just sat down.. Lynch is writing this one I´m sure..

.. but I´m starting to accelerate. Recorded in Pro Tools but now mixing in Logic I discovered a pretty awful thing about the arrange window in Logic compared to PT, and that is that you can´t move around more than ONE TRACK AT A TIME!?!? Super frustrating when importing tons of tracks to session and you just want them in place as fast as possible, ahhhhh!!… (asked around with my Logic pro friends but no answer yet!?)
Anyhow: Editing drum tracks, checking phase issues (Little labs analog phase alignment tool worst case scenario!), polishing vocal tracks, choosing guitar tracks. Bits and pieces all coming together as the second day of mixing Zombiekrigs sequel is heading for a lunch break..
