..played with Erik Segerstedt Thursday, Fibes in Stockholm (SVT1 Världens barngalan) Friday, and now Saturday in Malmö (Babel).. a three-gig-long-distance-by-bus-music-extravaganza and tonight I´m transporting all my instruments from my apartment to my studio.. I think I will sleep good tonight.. already tired.

on Spring St in the middle of SoHo.. had to wait 45 minutes to get a table but it was worth it.. it was nice just sitting outside the restaurant after some extensive shopping in greenwich village,  Soho and Chinatown..

so much to say.. but “having the time of my life” pretty much sums it up.. writing a new york diary that will be posted later.. haven´t got the time to do it now..

funny thing that happened this morning was that we met Alexander Chaplin, the actor known as James in Spin City, in Central park.. Really nice dude, really nice dog also.. Freddie..

think about it..

I´m trying hard not to complain too much. Sometimes you really have to try to freeze the moment, take a closer look, and try just to be in the moment, and enjoy yourself.. There are worse places than this to play music, and get paid to do it.. I´m at work, feeling great.. And tomorrow I leave for New York City and one week of lovely vacation.

..woke up this morning pretty god damn tired if you ask me.. The coffee machine all smashed up since the day before, and then I got this text message from edvin: “if you have anything at home that resembles in ear listening, like your iPod earphones or something like that.. please bring!” Look at the picture below and try to locate them..

During the rehearsals with Tomas Halberstad and Fibes oh Fibes I was introduced to some interesting ways of microphone placements.. -When recording your rehearsal the dynamic microphone is my favourite choice, Tomas Brandt says.. The angel is of course very important.

Edvin Edvinsson from Fibes oh Fibes disagrees.. -Everybody knows that you  have to use at least one “Kååånding”, as we say from Väners, when recording your rehearsal.. You can use dynamic microphones together with them, but only if they point to the floor… THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!..
